No to Comic-Con, but Yes to Pixar

So, for the second time in four years, I've had to miss Comic-Con due to being in a wedding. This year it was my good friend Doug's wedding, in the hills of Berkeley, so I was back in the beautiful Bay Area. I wasn't able to escape the heat of LA though, as it was in the 90's the whole time we were there - ugh! I saw a photo Jennie took of me at the wedding and my entire head is sweating from each pore.

On Friday on the way into town to pick up my tuxedo I got to stop by Pixar and visit a friend who works there. We got to talk shop, and it's always nice to hear how they're doing things right there. Got to also see a bunch of the production art for Cars and a cool display of reference material they have from their trips along Route 66. It's always inspiring to be there. Someday it'll be for a much longer amount of time.
