"El Tigre" Premeires on Nickelodeon!

"El Tigre" Premeires on Nickelodeon today! You gotta catch this one. It's a great show with a very cool look inspired by Mexican folk art (but a truly unique style in it's own!). It's created by my Nickelodeon pals Jorge Gutierrez and Sandra Equihua, and you won't want to miss it.

When I travel around and talk at schools we've shown the "El Tigre" pilot to the students, so I've seen it repeatedly. The audiences go nuts for it! I have to say that it honestly is more enjoyable every time, as I catch all the subtleties and every last joke. It's really funny, and it's going to be great for kids and adults. Set your TiVos, 'cause if you miss it today, Nickelodeon's going to be repeating it.

And congratulations to Sandra and Jorge, Dave Thomas (who's directing), and the "El Tigre" crew at Nickelodeon Animation Studios. Way back about a year and a half ago, "El Tigre" and "Tak" were both pilots working out of the two halves of our building (which is now all the CG Department). I know how hard everyone has worked to get this on the air, and I can't wait to see it!
